13. Al Fayoum Desert - Full-day Private Tour

Experience and enjoy unique sightseeing scenes in El Fayoum on a day Trip from Cairo with a Private guided tour.

Itinerary:

•       Pick up from the hotel by our tour representative and transfer to El Fayoum (Around 95Km)

•       Start by visiting Wadi Hitan (Valley of the Whales), 90km from Fayoum. It’s located in the Protected Area of Wadi El Rayan, designated by UNESCO as world Heritage Site in recognition of the 40 million year-old whale skeletons found there.  

•       Visit Mudawara Mountain, followed by Wadi Al Ryan Waterfalls, which is a natural depression located in the western desert (42m below the sea). It consists of two lakes connected by Egypt’s only waterfalls, formed in 1970 by an overflow of drainage water from the farmlands in Fayoum.

•       After, enjoy Medinet Madi (Ancient City Uncovered), which dates back to the 3rd pharaonic dynasty built by Amenemhet III and completed by Amenemhet IV.  

•       Late Lunch will be served

•       Transfer back to Cairo.
